Is The Lost City a Remake of Romancing the Stone?
The Lost City is a 2022 film from Paramount that stars Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum. Bullock is Loretta, a romance novelist, and Tatum is Alan (also known as Dash), her books’ cover model who has a crush on Loretta.
The Lost City is not an official remake of 1984’s Romancing the Stone which starred Kathleen Turner and Michael Douglas, but there are many similarities. We take a look at all of the ways the two films are alike.
