Updated November 17, 2020:

Rick Springfield is confirmed to be on the November 26 episode of “I Can See Your Voice.” This is being labeled by Fox as an “all-new special Thanksgiving episode.” Tune in at 9pm!

The show usually airs on Wednesdays, so there was some confusion as the correct day Rick would appear. The ‘80s Girls can confirm Fox is listing on their schedule as November 26, Thanksgiving night, as the episode featuring Rick.

Updated November 11, 2020:

It looks like “I Can See Your Voice” is moving to Thursday for one week to be on during Thanksgiving. Could be a typo in the schedule, so hang tight for final, final update.

Original post:

Rick Springfield announced on his social media that he would be appearing on “I Can See Your Voice,” a new competition show on Fox. There was no indication when Springfield would make his appearance, only that it was during ‘this season.’

‘I Can See Your Voice’ to Feature Celebrity Guests

The new show, hosted by comedian Ken Jeong, premiered on September 23, 2020 with guests Nick Lachey, Kelly Osbourne and Arsenio Hall. While it seems like there will be rotating celebrity guests, like Springfield, regular panelists include actress Cheryl Hines and Adrienne Houghton.

The premise of the show, based on a South Korean series, is to guess who is a singer, without hearing them sing. Six performers are narrowed down to one in six rounds with challenges like lip syncing.
