The first trailer for Top Gun: Maverick was released in 2019. Why hasn’t the movie been released? Word from Paramount Pictures is that the movie has been postponed due to the pandemic. No word on if that means the pandemic held up filming, or if they want to wait until they can pack the theater full of people.
