With the 2020 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony cancelled due to COVID, the poor Doobie Brothers had to make their accept speeches from their living rooms. I know, perspective, we’re in a pandemic. And, they have had years of being on stage in front of an adoring crowd, so I guess they’ll cope.
I am a slightly new DB fan after diving (pun!) into Yacht Rock during this summer. I listed the Doobie Brothers as one of the best Yacht Rock bands with my man Michael McDonald as top Yacht Rocker.
You’ll have to tune in to HBO to see the full Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and it’s totally worth it to see the mention of The Doobie Brothers on What’s Happening (!!!)
